Blackboard is hiring undergraduate and graduate students for internship opportunities in our Shanghai R&D Center. The essential responsibilities/duties of the PD intern may include but will not be limited to:
Building master prototypes and screenshot libraries (requires HTML and CSS and Java/JavaScript).
Analysis of metrics detailing our new development processes in terms of baseline vs. actual LOE for engineering work.
Data gathering and analysis for Product Management software acquisition
Building, design and revise team wiki pages for new releases and engineering processes.
Capturing data and developing repository of best practices for client engagement.
Designing JAVA tools to incorporate into the Bb Assist automation framework and tests in Java.
Building scripts to enhance and automated server setup for testing cycles.
Converting work products from legacy systems like Perforce into new tools like Silk Central.
Building block development (new or updates to existing).
Creating of unit tests.

Must Have

The successful candidate should have the following qualifications:
Working knowledge of programming concepts and familiarity with an object oriented programming language such as JAVA.
Working knowledge of HTML and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Good analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to function in a fast-paced collaborative work environment
Excellent team player.
